Blue

Blue.
Just shades of blue
And a huge golden circle,
Set right in the middle

It was a cloudless sky
And a shipless sea
Was the sky a reflection of the water
Or the turquoise blue water the reflection of the sky?

Ahead, the waves seemed intimdating,
Eating up anybody who went too far
And got in the way.
It seemed like war

The shining sun started to sink into the water,
Taking with it all the blue
The sky got redder and redder with each passing minute
And the sea, orange.

For a split second, the scene changed
It was too beautiful to describe
Or to capture
It was twilight time

Finally, there was darkness
Complete black,
Which was endless.
Just black.
