Who are we
But alchemists
Searching for hidden secrets
To turn everything to gold.
Sometimes foolish
Searching for something that seems hidden
Though already is right in front of us.
Little do we realise
That all the power is bestowed in us
Waiting, to be erupted out like a volcano.
And yet, so foolish and frail we appear to be.
Lost in the thoughts of what is and what is not
Oblivious of the fact that nothing is immortal,
Except the power that has created this universe,
And the power to destroy it all.
Aren't we all alchemists
Searching for the gold within..........

A Silent Witness
There you are, so calm and serene,
A witness to all our actions and faults
A silent spectator
Sometimes so full of life
Sometimes, disappearing
Then again you shine
With all your might
So bright
So peaceful.
Like a beacon of light for all of us
Who seem to be lost,
Telling us, reminding us
Of the great power who created us all.
And then again disappearing
For a fortnight,
Behind that great sky wall.
A witness to all our actions and faults
A silent spectator
Sometimes so full of life
Sometimes, disappearing
Then again you shine
With all your might
So bright
So peaceful.
Like a beacon of light for all of us
Who seem to be lost,
Telling us, reminding us
Of the great power who created us all.
And then again disappearing
For a fortnight,
Behind that great sky wall.
The Snow Peaked Mountain
There it is,
The snow peaked mountain
The highest one of them all
So beautiful,so majestic.
And yet,so far away
With a thousand steps I climb
And yet victory with its lending hand,
Is too far away.
Again another thousand steps or so i climb,
Striving to reach the invincible
And yet again I fall, so meek.
A thousand more steps I crawl
Grasping every piece of mountain I can feel
Alas, Triumph!!
I revel in my little heart,
Now so full of life I have given to it,
Because of my little victory.
Then yonder I see,
Another high peak
Waiting just for me.
Again my journey starts....
The snow peaked mountain
The highest one of them all
So beautiful,so majestic.
And yet,so far away
With a thousand steps I climb
And yet victory with its lending hand,
Is too far away.
Again another thousand steps or so i climb,
Striving to reach the invincible
And yet again I fall, so meek.
A thousand more steps I crawl
Grasping every piece of mountain I can feel
Alas, Triumph!!
I revel in my little heart,
Now so full of life I have given to it,
Because of my little victory.
Then yonder I see,
Another high peak
Waiting just for me.
Again my journey starts....
